I have come to find that how you start your day is incredibly important. I know for the longest time I didn't think much about morning rituals. I would just get up, get dressed and go about my day. The thing is, it wouldn't take long before someone's bad mood would send me spinning.
Focus that has been the word that has showed up a lot for me lately. Not so much that I was disorganized and didn't know where I was going. But more in the sense that I needed to put all of my focus on where I wanted to go. Sometimes we get caught up in what others want.
I noticed something interesting in the comments of a recent video I did with Ann Perry. A lot of people were talking about feeling stagnant, stuck, depressed and paralyzed in moving forward in their lives. Have you ever felt that way? I know I have. That's what prompted this week's video.
So when it comes to going for your dreams, you're probably used to hearing advice like: work hard, push through, just do it or hustle forward. I'm not saying they're bad. I'm not saying it's wrong. It definitely has it's place. But I know that in my own experience, pushing forward and trying to make it happen.
